We’re excited to officially kick off a new collaboration with Texas A&M’s Institute for a Disaster Resilient Texas (IDRT) on two critical studies that will support smarter, more resilient flood management in our region.

✅ The first-ever sedimentation study of Clear Creek utilizing cutting edge technology, helping us better understand how sediment and obstructions over time has impacted drainage capacity and long-term maintenance.

✅ A pump and gate optimization study to improve how Texans manage stormwater infrastructure during flood events.

Being a drainage district, these projects mark a big step forward in our mission to reduce flood risk with data-driven solutions. We’re proud to partner with top researchers to help make our communities safer.
